Meal time on Saturday happened in different parts of the city. The two big kids attended “Parents’ Night Out” at the YMCA and ate there while we parents and a slightly-under-the-weather Little One ate at our choir party.
Sunday we said goodbye to the last bowls of chicken-and-veg soup, supplemented by leftover buttermilk biscuits or crackers (plus peanut butter, for those who weren’t consuming a serving’s size worth of chicken).
It’s time to do some more cooking…but I really like the method of doing cooking sprees and then eating off of it on my busy days. OK, on my really busy days (since most days are quite busy)!
